RZ1 CNC Levelling and Tensioning Center BC1 Wet Grind Sharpener

The vast majority of wide bandsaws are serviced at our Rotorua manufacturing plant. Thode Rotorua operates a Iseli RZ1 fully automatic CNC levelling and tensioning centre. This machine is world renowned for the consistency of leveling and tensioning it is able to deliver. Thode also has in Rotorua a BC1 CNC controlled wet grind bandsaw sharpener. this particular machine handles the sharpening of any type of bandsaw including variable pitch and variable depth configurations. The BC! consistently delivers sharper saws than can be offered with traditional dry grinding.

                             

SAA Fully Automatic Stellite Tipper EM2 CNC Dual Side Grinder

For those customers that run a stellite programme Thode has installed an Iseli SAA fully automatic stellite tipper. This machine offers very accurate tiop placement and significantly reduces the risk of mill downtime due to tip failure. To compliment the the work that the SAA automatic stellite tipper does Thode has installed an EM2 CNC Dual side Grinder. This machine dramatically increases consistency and accuracy on side grinding of stellite offering the customer more accurate sawing with less marking.

STA Fully Automatic Swage and Shape Machine

For those customers that require swaged and shaped saws, Thode has installed an IseliSTA fully automatic swage and shaper. This machine increases the accuracy and consistency of swage and shape results.
