BC 1 CNC Controlled Wet Grind Bandsaw and Circular Saw Sharpener
The Iseli BC 1 CNC (computer numerically controlled) sharpening machine for wet grinding bandsaw and circular saw blades offers tooth by tooth high precision burr frre sharpening. The saw blade is precision ground by X and Y axies in one or several passages by selectively programmable feed values. The operation of the BC 1 is via a state of the art touch screen monitor. The tooth height and tooth pitch can be adjusted and changed during the grinding process. On request from the customer up to 30 tooth shapes can be programmed into the BC1. Four feed speeds are selectively programmable when grinding the tooth profile.The machine is available for left or right blades and is very operator freindly. The BC 1 features pnuematic saw blade clamping and a low construction height enabling easy loading of saw blades. Further features include motor adjustment of blade height, powerful grinding mist exhaust system and the feed finger swings out on the return stroke to eliminate any pull back of the saw blade. The fully closed protection casing provides maximum safety for the operator, reduces noise drastically and provides a cleaner work environment. The BC 1 provides an excellent surface finish when using CBN grinding wheels as well as carborundum grinding wheels for wet grinding.The BC 1 features a large grinding wheel diameter and the mechanism and grinding head guide with tempered shafts and ball bush bearings ensure very long life. The BC 1 offers smoother wet ground surfaces, longer saw blade life, minimal grinding wheel wear,no grinding dust and a very significant noise reduction.
The BC 1 has a huge range of options. For grinding circular saws, the machine can be easily and quickly reset. An automatic grinding wheel dressing attachment is available as is lateral and backwards blade supports with central height adjustment. The grinding wheel can be set up to automatically remove the wheel from the tooth face at the last run and there are additional supports available for double toothed saws. The BC 1 can be programmed for the construction of individual tooth shapes and for proportional variable tooth pitches as well as standard variable tooth pitches. A programme for a frost notch tooth profile is also available.
