STA Fully Automatic Swaging Machine

The STA is a machine that is a fully automatic, hydraulically controlled swaging machine for bandsaw and framesaw blades. The Iseli STA offers fully automatic swaging and shaping in one operation. The STA features a short set up time and very high precision swaging and shaping. The same tooth can be swaged once or twice and shaped in a single pass. The STA has a feed limit stop for variable tooth pitch and is extremely easy to operate due to the latest state of the art microprocessor control.

The STA is suitable to swage and shape bandsaw blades up to 300mm wide and frame saws of all common dimensions (maximum 3mm thickness). Blade feed is affected by the swage die so accurate positioning of the saw tooth is gauranteed. The die is mounted in bearings on both sides and can be used in 10 different positions. The clearance, rake angle, width to be shaped and the tooth pitch are easily set according to scales without changing any machinery parts. The complete swage and shape operation is hydraulically controlled and individually adjustable.All electrical equipment is to DIN-EN 60204 and features protective motor relay and thermal release for all motors.

Additional equipment is available on request. This includes equipment for double toothed saws,equipment for frame saw blades and a feed limit stop for variable tooth pitch. Further equipoment includes Automatic lubricating units for swaging with a mixture of air and oil, swage dies (10mm, 12mm, or 14mm) and shaping fences for clearance angles 5 degree or 8 degree.
